#2 of 11 hotels in Lake Ozark based on Tripadvisor

6.0/10

This resort has a mixed bag of experiences – while the staff are friendly and the air conditioning kept us comfortable during the heat, the overall condition of the hotel leaves a lot to be desired. The food options are limited and the facilities could use some updates, making it not quite the luxurious escape we hoped for.

Rooms
5.0
The room we stayed in felt dated and had some maintenance issues, including a leaky ceiling in the bathroom. It would have been much better with a microwave and a seating area.
Service
8.0
The staff were quite accommodating, allowing us to check in early and suggesting options for Door Dash delivery, which was a nice touch considering the limited dining hours at the resort.
Location
6.0
The location offers beautiful views and a pretty setting, but the hotel itself feels outdated, which can dampen the appeal.
Dining
6.0
The dining options were limited, and the breakfast wasn't as hot as I wished. While they do offer a buffet, the overall selection felt lacking for a resort.
Facilities
5.0
The pool area was nice but required a long walk to access. Several sections of the resort appeared closed or in need of repairs, which was disappointing.

5.0/10

I was really looking forward to our stay, but it turned out to be quite the disappointment. The location had potential, especially being on the lake, but the room didn’t match what we expected at all. The service had its moments, but we definitely dealt with some frustrating issues during our stay. The dining options were quite pricey and the food quality was hit or miss. Overall, while we did enjoy some aspects, there were too many negatives for me to recommend this place without caution.

Rooms
5.0
The room we were assigned was not what we had hoped for; it felt more like a motel than a resort. We experienced issues like a bad odor and several maintenance problems. It was spacious but the overall appearance and cleanliness were lacking.
Service
5.0
The staff tried to be helpful, but we dealt with some frustrations regarding our room assignment and dining service that left a sour taste in our mouths.
Location
7.0
The hotel is situated right by the lake, which is lovely and offers a gorgeous view. However, the walk to most areas felt long and inconvenient, especially considering the lack of elevators.
Dining
5.0
Dining was a letdown; the food was overpriced and often not very enjoyable. We had multiple issues with our orders, and for the price we paid, we expected much better quality.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities were lacking maintenance as well; the pool area was far from our room, and I found that disappointing. Plus, the hot tub wasn’t very inviting due to cold drafts.

8.2/10

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. On one hand, the location was absolutely beautiful, right by the lake, and the amenities were quite nice. However, the room I booked didn’t quite match the expectations set on the website. The staff were generally pleasant, fostering a welcoming atmosphere, although I did encounter some inconsistencies in service. Overall, the hotel offers a decent getaway, but it might need a bit more attention to detail to truly shine.

Rooms
7.0
The room was clean but I found it odd that there was only one bar of soap shared between the sink and tub. It was updated yet had quirks that felt a bit dated.
Service
8.0
The staff were genuinely kind and attentive, making my stay feel welcoming. However, I did experience a minor hiccup with one of my dinner courses not being served.
Location
9.0
The hotel has a stunning location right off the lake, providing lovely views. It’s close to various attractions, making it perfect for exploring.
Dining
8.0
Dining at the hotel was fantastic, particularly enjoyed the variety offered. It was a bit pricey, but I felt it was worth it for the quality.
Facilities
9.0
The amenities were enjoyable, especially the spa, which I highly recommend. The pool area was well-kept, and the outdoor fire area was a nice touch.

5.6/10

The Lodge is a nice place where I've had a good time in the past, but there are definitely some issues with maintenance and service. While the view of the lake and the clean rooms are great, my recent experience was marred by a lack of attention to repairs and some staff unfriendliness. Additionally, the dining and bar service left much to be desired with limited drink selections and quality.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were clean and provided a nice view of the lake, but I've stayed in better accommodations elsewhere.
Service
5.0
The staff varied from helpful to outright rude, which was disappointing especially at the reception.
Location
9.0
The Lodge has a beautiful view and is close to recreation areas, making it a pleasant destination.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was subpar as they ran out of basic drinks, leaving us with limited options.
Facilities
5.0
The amenities were decent, but the hot water issues and lack of proper maintenance detracted from the overall experience.

7.8/10

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The customer service was outstanding, and the lobby was absolutely stunning. The rooms, while generally clean and well-decorated, had some minor issues, particularly with the bathroom. Unfortunately, the pool and hot tub area were poorly maintained, which impacted my overall impression. Given the price I paid, I expected a bit more attention to detail.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were clean and beautifully decorated, though the bathroom could use an update.
Service
9.0
The front desk staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, especially Grace.
Location
8.0
The setting by the lake was lovely, providing nice views, but access to the pool area was a bit inconvenient due to cold drafts.
Dining
Facilities
6.0
The pool and hot tub area were enjoyable when they were clean, but the overflowing trash cans were a significant drawback.
